The Iowa Shrine Bowl has announced their rosters for the 2023 all-star football game and West Branch senior Aiden Dingbaum has been honored with a selection and invitation. Dingbaum joins a long list of West Branch Football players who have been invited to and participated in the event.

The 2023 Iowa Shrine Bowl game will be played on Saturday July 22nd at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls. Selected players, however, will report on Sunday July 16th for a week of camp and visits to some of the hospitals and centers the Shrine support. In lead up to the week of events, all players are expected to go out in their community and raise money to support the Shrine hospital system. If you'd like to help the Dingbaum family with their money-raising efforts, more information will be available soon.

The Iowa Shrine Bowl Game is an all-star football game between selected pre-college football athletes on each side of a north-south dividing line in Iowa. The players are selected by a process of nomination by coaches, balloting by state-wide sports media professionals, and official invitation from a representative of the Iowa Shrine Bowl. The game brings honor and recognition to the players, their schools and their communities.

West Branch Football has been honored by 37 player and coach selections since the annual event began in 1973. More information about the Iowa Shrine Bowl and their cause can be found on their website.

Congratulations to Aiden on this selection!
