Friday night's game at the Little Rose Bowl was the first to be played on the recently renamed field, Butch Pedersen Field. Oh, and it was the Homecoming game as well. The team did not disappoint, blowing out North Cedar by a final score of 52-14.
The Bears were stout in all three phases of the game: Scoring at-will on offense, big interceptions and fumble recoveries on defense, and two special teams touchdowns by Brett Schiele. The Bears had the perfect on-field response to get back on the winning train after last week's narrow loss to Bellevue.
