Recap
Friday night at the Little Rose Bowl, the Bears were handed their first regular season loss in several seasons to the speed and physicality of the West Burlington-Notre Dame Falcons. The 27-18 loss is the Bears' first regular season loss since a narrow 18-14 defeat to Eddyville on October 18th, 2013.
Week two's match-up between a Class 3A powerhouse and the #2 ranked Class 1A team was a back and forth physical battle all evening. The Falcons and the Bears traded scores late into the fourth quarter where the visitors ultimately came out on top.
