Recap

On Friday night, the Bears once again continued their offensive and defensive domination.

West Branch beat West Burlington-Notre Dame 45-0 in a game that West Branch came out firing early

On the Bears' first drive of the game, Lucas Lamont connected with Matt Shawver twice, the second completion being a beautiful 32 yard touchdown pass to put the Bears on top.

In the first quarter alone, Lucas Lamont threw for 124 yards and two touchdowns. The senior quarterback finished the night 10/14 passing with 191 yards and 3 touchdowns while also rushing for 27 yards and a touchdown.

Running back Luke Lenoch once again had a solid game running the ball with 126 yards and 2 touchdowns on only 7 attempts, which equates to a whopping 18 yards per carry. Lenoch also caught 2 passes that totaled 42 yards. Lamont spread the ball to all of his receivers Friday night as he completed passes to five different receivers.

Senior Mason Hays had 57 yards and one touchdown on 3 receptions. Sam Aspelmeier had 50 yards and a touchdown on 2 receptions. Sophomore tight end Cooper Kabela got in on the action as well with 2 receptions for 42 yards. Matt Shawver caught the first touchdown of the game from Lamont and finished the night with 31 yards and 1 touchdown.

On the defensive end, senior Travis Wolf lead the team in total tackles with 7, which included 4 solo tackles. Linebackers Drew Finnegan and Matt McIlrath each totaled 5.5 tackles on the night. Nick Westcott had 4 total tackles including 1 tackle for loss.
