West Branch High School senior Jon St. John has earned a full-ride scholarship to play football for Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge.

St. John played offensive and defensive tackle for the Bears and earned 1st Team Offense (Class 1A) honors this past season from the Iowa Newspaper Association. St. John also was named to the Class 1A District 5 1st team this past season.

St. John will sign his letter of intent tomorrow morning at West Branch High School. Joining St. John in signing will be Jacob Giese, who recently announced his acceptance of a preferred walk-on offer to play for the University of Iowa.
