The Big Ten Network has released their 2014 All-Big-Ten Freshman list, which highlights and recognizes the best freshman (including redshirt) football players this year in the Big Ten Conference.

Former Bear (a 2013 West Branch High School graduate) Bo Bower has made the network's Honorable Mention list as a linebacker for the University of Iowa. Bower started every game of the season for the Hawkeyes at the outside linebacker position. This season for the Hawkeyes, Bower had 35 total tackles (16 solo, 19 assist), 4.5 of which were for loss, including one sack. Bower also secured two interceptions.

Bower has one more game before his freshman year concludes as the Hawkeyes travel to Jacksonville to take on the Tennessee Volunteers in the 2015 TaxSlayer Bowl on January 2nd.
