The Bears' final non-district game of the 2020 season had them matched up with long-time area rival, West Liberty. The Comets, ranked #7 in Class 2A, came into the game with their star running back Jahsiah Galvan and stud defensive end Kobe Simon playing at their best, and it showed on the field Friday night.
The Bears were without their starting quarterback, Gavin Hierseman, after being inured last week late in the game against Tipton.
The Comets' Galvan dominated the running game by racking up over 200 yards. The Bears' QB Kelby Burger scored his first touchdown of his varsity career for the Bears' lone score of the game.
