Recap
Last night at the Little Rose Bowl, it was a battle of unbeaten, district 5 teams as Bellevue came to town sitting in that first place district position.
West Branch's offense and defense allowed the Bears to take that No. 1 position away from Bellevue on Friday night.

Lucas Lamont had another solid performance at quarterback. The Bear QB was 8/10 passing and threw for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns, including a 70 yard bomb to Matt Shawver for a touchdown in the second half. Overall, the Bears' offense tallied 432 total yards, including 149 yards passing and 283 yard rushing.
On the defensive side of the ball, Travis Wolf came to play once again. The senior linebacker and defensive end totaled 8 tackles, including 4 solo tackles and 1 tackle for loss.
