Coach Chris Evers returns to the sidelines as a head coach. Bear fans may remember him as a long time coach for Alburnett. The Wildcats are very diverse. QB Tyson Turner (586 total yards) is a solid athlete, and RB Alec McDowell (404 rush yards, 4 TD) returns to solidify the running game. McDowell gained over 1300 yards in 2015. Keep an eye on WR Zach Harback and Garrett Hogan...The Bears returned to winning fashion with a solid performance at Jesup. Luke Lenoch had 42 total touches for 299 yards and 4 TD. Brandon Rummelhart continued his aerial attack with 171 yards and a beautiful TD pass to Cooper Kabela (5 rec, 75 yards) with :01 remaining in the 2nd quarter. Billy Friis and Cale Donovan continue to pace an ever growing Bear defense.
