Recap
Friday night, the football field at Wilton High School played host to an important District 5 matchup between West Branch and Wilton. Both teams dropped their first district game in week three, so one team was going to walk away with a win to stay alive in the five game district schedule. The Bears were that team.
Playing classic West Branch football, the Bears put all three phases of the game together for the first time this season and it lead to a dominant 43-8 victory over the Beavers, highlighted by excellent play from many Bear football players.
