Gone from the Lisbon roster is Keegan Tritle. The 6'3, 265 pound monster of an offensive lineman, who started for the varsity team all 4 years of high school. Also gone is leading rusher from 2014, Benton Frye. However, the Lions return 4 starting guys up front on offense and Jack Butteris (83, 681 yards, 8.3 yards per carry, 5TD) returns to tote the mail. Kent Allison enters his 17th at the helm of the Lisbon football program...West Branch needs to replace 3 OL, TE, and QB on offense as well as 2 OL, 1 OLB,1 MLB on defense. That's a bunch. The good news: they don't need to replace the leading rusher (Luke Lenoch, now a junior, 2,105 yards and 30TD) and the top two receivers (Matt "Showtime" Shawver 557 yards and Devin Kindon 519 yards). Drew Finnegan will lead the offensive line and be the captain of the defense at MLB. Cooper Koenig, a 1200 yard passer at West Liberty in 2014, takes over under center. Aaron Barnes' returns to shore up the skill position core, returns, and defensive back lineup. The OL holes will be filled by: Seniors (Ian Andrews and Tony Rocha), Juniors (Cole Tisinger, John Krall), and/or Sophomore Jacob Barnhart.
