Friday night, the Bears once again lit-up the scoreboard by beating West Liberty 49-3.
After the first half, it was a tight game with West Branch winning 14-3. In the 3rd quarter however, the Bears took advantage of multiple West Liberty turnovers and scored four touchdowns along with one more in the 4th to end up winning 49-3.
Luke Lenoch once again lead the Bears' rushing attack by running for 182 yards on 30 carries (20 of those in the first half) and 3 touchdowns.
Quarterback Lucas Lamont was 7/12 passing with 99 yards and 3 total touchdowns (1 passing, 2 rushing).
On the receiving end of those passes, Sam Aspelmeier caught all 3 balls thrown to him and tallied 36 yards.
On the defensive side, Travis Wolf had a huge night with 9 total tackles, including 1 for a loss. Matt McIlrath totaled 5 tackles and an interception.
