Tyler is a 2006 graduate of West Branch High School, earning two All-District awards during his four years of football.

Tyler went on to play football at Cornell College and now works at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics as a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist.

He married Kassie (Stoolman) Bailey, also a West Branch graduate, in 2014 and the couple have two kids.

Tyler enjoys watching the Green Bay Packers and lists the Cornell Rams as his favorite college football team.
