Jacob is a 2018 graduate of West Branch High School and two-time All-District/All-State performer in football.

During his time playing high school football, Jacob set a school record for the most interceptions in a single season — 7 during the 2016 season.

Jacob went on to play football at Central College and graduated with a business management degree.
