The Des Moines Register has announced their selections for the Class 1A Iowa High School Football All-State team and West Branch senior Jeff Bowie has made the team.

On the heels of the announcement from the Iowa Sports Print Writers Association's All-State selections, where Bears Jeff Bowie and Gavin Hierseman were honored, the Des Moines Register has announced their selections for all classes across the state.

During the 2020 campaign, Bowie, a senior defensive end for the Bears, totaled 20.5 tackles and amassed four sacks and 11 tackles for loss. He will be joining the the University of Iowa to play football next year.
