In response to the changes outlined by the Iowa High School Athletic Association on Friday, West Branch High School has released updated Varsity and Junior Varsity schedules for the 2020 season.

The season will still kick off on Friday, August 28 at the Little Rose Bowl against Tipton. However, the previously-scheduled week two matchup against Sigourney-Keota has been cancelled, as is the same for the week four matchup with Regina.

The two cancellations gets the Bears down to the maximum seven-game schedule allowed by the IHSAA. The previously-scheduled district games will be played two weeks earlier, with the regular season ending on Friday, October 9th in Dyersville against Beckman.

The six-round playoffs, which all teams qualify for, will begin the following Friday on October 16th.
