The Iowa Print Sports Writers Association has released their selections for the 2019 All-State Football teams and four West Branch Bears have been honored.

Offensive and defensive lineman Jeff Bowie has earned All-State honors for the first time with a First Team Defense selection. The junior racked up 44.5 tackles and 6.5 sacks from his defensive end position during the 2019 campaign.

Senior running back and linebacker Tanner Lukavsky has earned a Second Team Offense selection for his play at running back. The to-be Iowa State walk-on rushed for over 1,000 yards this season. This is Lukavsky's second All-Selection (third team in 2018).

Trey Eagle has been named to Third Team Offense for his incredible play at his wide receiver position. The senior pulled in 41 receptions for a school record 859 yards this season, nearly 21 yards per reception. This is Eagle's first All-State selection.

Juinor Cael Fiderlein has also earned his first All-State selection with a Third Team Offense selection as a kicker. The place kicker was good on all seven of his field goal attempts this season and was 44/45 on PATs.
